Nobody likes a recall, not the customers, and definitely not the company. In July of 2015, SWMCA Catalogs LLC. [now SWMCA Brands & Holding LLC.] joined AIGA; the most professional of all graphics organizations the United States, and one of the best in the world. This means that we must go for a higher standard. We feel this recall is also a way of emphasis of service with our operation.

Although every EULA ever put out by SWMCA says that our download products are WYSIWYG [What You See is What You Get] a/k/a as-is; we really do care about all of our customers...past, present, and future...and felt we had an obligation to do this recall The good news is that corrections will be done to all recalled fonts, most will also expanded to have even more characters, and all will be union made Grade B SWMCA fonts in the end. WE NO LONGER MAKE OR DISTRIBUTE NON-UNION MADE PRODUCTS All fonts in this recall are currently non-union products. This company feels that the AIGA membership is an excellent oportunity to bring all our fonts up to par to how they should be.

We still plan to continue to offer free fonts as well as toll ones, and on select ones both free and toll versions may be made. Those fonts digitized before January 2014 were all out BEFORE SWMCA's digitization process was perfected. All recalled fonts will be fixed as needed then upgraded to being Grade B union made products. This goes for the free ones too. Where a free font will be totally toll, there will be a replacement free font at authorized dealer brokers of our free fonts (and probably even some of those who aren't)

You may go to your dealer to buy replacements once they're availible or click on the green bar under the name for it (in which case you must provide an e-mail address). If the bar is red then a replacement is not availible yet. If there's no bar then it was not released by SWMCA and was never supposed to be distributed. Watch for it to be made availible in the future. The existing EULA is still good on recalled fonts for 90 days after a replacement is made public and then our Pirates' and Bootleggers' EULA applies to them unless we mention that their use is still permitted.

The sole exception is the Church Camp font; which every existing copy is already governed by the Pirates' and Bootleggers' EULA, due to the fact that it was unfinished and never supposed to be released.

If you're not sure if your font is being recalled, we've typed the name of each one in the same typeface. Type the font in question exactly as we have it here. If it matches or comes close to matching, it's probably a part of this recall. While these fonts will definitely be recalled, some might still be availible for a short time before being discontinued...as we are starting with the worst fonts first, followed by the most difficult from the remainder of this list, then all others listed. We do advise that you wait until the new versions come out if you possibly can, especially for the toll fonts.
