SWMCA Brands and Holding was founded as a calligraphy stand in 1977.  For many years it was a hand painted sign operation but had various side businesses off and on over time. It was known for it's typographic catalogs. For many years [1987-2003 and again  from 2011 thru 2016],  we did business under the SWMCA Catalogs name which remained the official name of this company until 2016
 We also incorporated under this name in 2014. In memory of Donna Jean Strong, we started selling our fonts to the public and continue to do so today.
